1. Champlain Valley (12-0): The Redhawks passed a weeklong test with flying colors, topping Essex and Rice. They also defeated North Country the night after outlasting the Green Knights. Last ranking: 1.
2. Rice (8-4): The Green Knights’ four-game winning streak ended at the hands of CVU. Last ranking: 2.
3. Essex (11-2): The Hornets ended their two-game losing streak by defeating Spaulding on Pink Zone night in Essex. Last ranking: 3.
4. St. Johnsbury (6-5): Here come the Hilltoppers, who ran their winning streak to four games after topping BFA-St. Albans. Last ranking: 7.
5. BFA-St. Albans (9-4): The Bobwhites went 1-1 last week. Last ranking: 4.
6. Rutland (8-4): After a bit of a layoff, the Raiders defeated Mill River. Last ranking: 5.
7. Mount Anthony (8-5) The Patriots are back on track with a four-game winning streak. Last ranking: 6.
8. Colchester (8-4): Bouncing back from the loss to South Burlington, the Lakers earned a 16-point win over Division II contender Mount Abraham. Last ranking: 8 .
9. Hartford (10-3): The Hurricanes had a three-game winning streak halted by Hanover, N.H. Last ranking: Unranked.
10. Fair Haven (9-3): The Slaters have suffered three straight losses, but I don’t see another team worthy of the top 10 yet. Last ranking: 9.
